My name is Sandra Moreno, and I offer therapy for neurodivergent people. I work with autistic, ADHD, gifted, and otherwise neurodivergent adults who want to better understand themselves and feel more comfortable being themselves.
In my work, I support people to explore their feelings, their thoughts, and the way they experience life. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling different, misunderstood, or overwhelmed. My aim is to create a space where neurodivergence feels normal, not strange — a place where you can feel understood and accepted as you are.
My sessions are designed to feel calm, supportive, and grounding. I want clients to feel more relaxed, to put down some of the weight they have been carrying, and to approach life’s challenges with greater clarity and self-compassion.
I am neurodivergent myself, and I see neurodivergence as a difference, not a deficit or a problem to be fixed. My lived experience is closely connected to the way I support others. From a very young age, I experienced many of the challenges neurodivergent people often face — at home, at school, at work, and in relationships. I grew up feeling different, and for a long time I believed that something was wrong with me, especially when others described me as “difficult.”
Learning that I was not a problem — that my value was equal to everyone else’s — was life-changing. It felt as though a weight I had carried for a long time began to lift. I began to feel lighter, happier, and more able to enjoy life, make my own decisions, and live in a way that felt true to me. This experience is at the heart of my work, and it is what motivates me to support others on a similar journey.
In therapy, I offer practical tools and gentle guidance to help neurodivergent people cope with daily challenges such as communication, emotional understanding, self-confidence, and navigating relationships. We work together at your pace, in a way that respects your needs and your individuality.
I offer online sessions, providing a flexible and accessible way to receive support. I welcome anyone who feels ready to put down some of the weight they have been carrying.
I have studied at different universities and continue my professional development, as I strongly believe that ongoing learning — especially in psychology — is essential. All sessions are confidential, and everything shared in therapy stays within that safe space.
